LAKE ACACIA are a fresh-faced alt-rock band hailing from Oxford consisting of Adam Budd, Tim Groethe and Joe Homer. Having formed in 2016, they wasted no time in anonymity and got straight to it, playing renowned venues such as the O2 Academy Oxford; The Fleece, Bristol and the O2 Institute, Birmingham with well-established bands including King No-One and Allusinlove.
Their diverse style of heavy riffs and delicate three-part harmonies mixed with their consistent wild energy and engagement during live performances make a huge impact at every show which is where the songs really come into their own.
Their debut EP ‘Figure Frame’ was released in September 2017 and earned them a name for “well-crafted and multi-dimensional songs”. Since the release, the tracks 'Hold Fast' and ‘Self Restraint’ have been featured on BBC Introducing numerous times.
LAKE ACACIA’s second EP ‘Broken Circuits’ is a step further into their contrasting heavy rock sound using a more thought out and artistic approach to their songwriting. The EP was released in June 2019 following on from the release of the 2 leading singles ‘Desynthed’ and ‘Any Day Now’ also from the EP.
