—> THE PRETTY UGLY
THE PRETTY UGLY – The Pretty Ugly are a 3 piece Alt pop/rock group based in Yorkshire. The 80s obsessed Indie rockers, once described as looking like they ‘met at a bus stop’ aren’t your average alternative group. A unique blend of Alt rock and past decade nostalgia breathe a new breath of life into the 20s that comes just as unexpected as it is needed. “With soaring harmonies and catchy melodies these guys have done something really special with that 80s throw back trend that has been going around” (Christan Carlisle – BBC introducing DJ Sheffield)
ULTRABLOOM Singing about digital dilemmas with a backdrop of New Romantic nostalgia, Rachel, Matt & Marti (aka Ultrabloom) blend existential lyrics with vintage synths, rocky riffs, and soaring vocals infectiously creating the soundtrack to a quarter life crisis.
HOLDA SEK – Holda Sek and the Dads are a 5-piece alternative-pop band based in west London consisting of Maddie Williams (vocals), Chauncey Cox (keys), Vincent Barulis (guitar), Henry Linton (bass) and Zak Waller (drums). They formed from the solo project ‘Holda Sek’, whose “sonically different” (Woody, Bastille) music has already gained support from the likes of BBC Introducing in Kent and Stoke. The Dads are an “indie-fied” take on both Holda Sek’s original songs and covers, with a strong band dynamic and infectiously fun energy. Dad dancing encouraged.
