THE MANATEES – Hailing from a sleepy town on the south coast of England, The Manatees (Jay, Tyler & Miller) combine hip-hop samples, funk inspired bass lines, thrashing guitars and candid lyrics to carve out their own soundscape within modern rock. Taking influence from Jungle, Wolf Alice and The Strokes, the three school friends have embarked on headline tours across the UK. In 2022 they played sell-out shows in London, Brighton, Southampton, Bristol and Bath. 

The trio are set to release their debut EP, ‘Dream in Colour’ in 2023. Blending guitar-based rock, with indie craftiness and a pop infusion; The EP “explores the existential crisis we’ll all inevitably go through…we’re a few years into our 20s now and it’s turned out to be a fairly constant assault of anxiety over what we’re meant to do next. Pursuing a career in music has made things more entertaining, but no easier”.
