ABOUT ED TATTERSALL
In late November 2016 Ed begun his ascent into the mystical world of the modern-day music industry. With a Paulo Nutini/Rod Stewart rasp, intertwined with a whole lot of energy, Ed caught the attention of hit record producer and songwriter Jamie Petrie. After being invited to perform at one of JP’s legendary parties the two took a slightly inebriated stroll. Over a whiskey and a cigarette they begun plans to develop Ed’s sound and begin the writing of what is to become Ed’s First studio album. 2017 progressed with a continuous medley of studio work, live shows and the shooting of music videos.
In February of 2017 Ed took his first steps on a big stage performing at O2 Islington Academy supporting one of Ireland’s favourites, Hermitage Green. The group then invited him to jump on a plane and support them at their up and coming headline show at Limerick Castle, in Ireland. Taking to his biggest stage yet, Ed developed a taste that would never leave him. In November of 2017, Ed Tattersall locked himself in his basement and sat at the keys and worked hard. He Returned in 2018 with several local shows in preparation for his up and coming first headline slot at Curious Yellow Festival in late June this year, along with his much anticipated move to London in early July. When we asked Ed where did you get the voice, his humble response, was merely this….. Whiskey and Cigarettes.
