ABOUT SHADY LADY
Shady Lady is a Sydney born and bred DJ now dwelling in Amsterdam to fulfil her DJ dreams.
“When I’m playing I want it to be not just about the music – it’s a performance, taking the piss out of myself, throwing shapes, screaming lyrics, becoming entangled in my headphone cord – it’s a way of wholeheartedly connecting with the crowd and the music.” Her sound is a taste of 80s kitsch, disco delights and funky chunks of house. What to expect from a Shady Lady set? High-energy, laden with lyrics and at some times even humorous as she utilizes the stage as her own dance floor – often squeezing in a cheesy beat you would never expect but you all secretly love.
