Hypsoline - Friends since the awkward years of secondary school, Hypsoline have been muddling through life together, bringing their victories, hardships and heartbreaks to musical fruition since September 2019. Their influences include bands such as Wolf Alice, Warpaint, Savages and HAIM. The atmosphere at a Hypsoline gig is full of infectious energy, the band exuding raw emotions supported by rich harmonies, lush textures and punchy bass lines that leave the audience wanting more.
Nil By Habit - Gritty Disco Punk formed in Brighton in 2014. They combine elements of Post-Punk, Alternative Rock and Folk Rock to create sinewy grunge-flecked art noise.
Rugrat - Shabby suited Rugrat, an alt-punk band from South East. Emerging early 2024 with a self produced 3 track EP, "Public Humilation", Rugrat are now back with new music in the form of a follow up single, "Rarity Jacket". Chaotic, energetic and comical, a real shakedown onstage.
The Prince Albert in Brighton is an independent grassroots live music pub featuring an intimate upstairs performance room with a capacity of around 110 to 150. Located on Trafalgar Street near the railway station, the venue hosts regular shows focused on indie, alternative, punk, rock, folk, and jazz acts. Housed in an 1848 building converted to a pub in 1860, its exterior is famous for a large mural of deceased musicians and a replica of Banksy's Kissing Coppers.
